How to talk about a leak or a boiler
Two different calls
Water on the floor is urgent: shut the stopcock first. A cold radiator with no leak can wait for a daytime visit. Say which one it is in the first sentence.
Words
Rohrbruch burst pipe, Hahn valve, Heizung heating, Wärmepumpe heat pump, Anfahrt the trip. There is no separate euro table for a heat pump on these city lists.
Gas
If you smell gas, leave and call 112 from outside. Do not look for the meter. The emergencies guide has the same step.
