Gardeners (Garten & Landschaft)
How to describe a yard the lorry cannot enter
Access
Measure the gate before you call. Many Berlin courtyards take a barrow, not a lorry. In Hamburg, ask for drainage before paving. In a Rhine or Elbe flood plain, ask about height. That question is not for every address in the city.
Words
Pflaster paving, Erdaushub excavation, Torbreite gate width, Entwässerung drainage. Compare cubic metres, square metres and the week, especially in a short München autumn.
Money
Ordinary garden work usually has no grant. These lists have no city price table. A roof terrace is a different trade from the firms on the gardeners list.
