Agree the price before the door opens
Before they travel
Send a photo of the cylinder and the door edge. Ask for the total including Anfahrt, in writing, before they set off. Do not pay cash on the landing to someone who is not the firm on the card.

Who pays
A lease may shift a small repair to the tenant up to a cap written in that lease. Read it. The who-pays guide points at § 535 BGB and does not print a euro cap.
